stradd()


Description

Creates a new string that contains all the strings that are passed.

Definition

[string] stradd([string] str,...)

Parameters

str,... is one or many strings, separated by commas.

Return Value

stradd() returns a string containing all the passed strings joined together in order. The parameters must be strings.

Example

// Outputs  "abcdefghj"

var str1 = "abc";
var str2 = "def";
var str3 = "ghi";

println(stradd(str1,str2,str3));


// To add in other variable types one can use 
// the tostring() function.
//
// Outputs "The object has 437 polygons."

var str1 = "The object has ";
var num = 437;
var str2 = " polygons.";

println(stradd(str1,tostring(num),str2));
