Microperimetry

Microperimetry is a non-invasive diagnostic test that allows for the measuring scotoma size, central sensitivity, and fixation behaviour in patients with macular disease. It provides very valuable information and is also useful for following the response to a treatment. Microperimeter uses rays of light to obtain a sensitivity map of the examined retina and can be performed in a few minutes. No radiation or x–rays are used in this test.

Microperimetry is performed at the medical retina service at the Rudolf Foundation Clinic by your rcv ophthalmologist.
